LTPL Skill Foundation (“LTPL”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) is a Section 8 (not-for-profit) company engaged in skill development, training, and educational initiatives. This Refund & Cancellation Policy governs all payments made through our website and authorized payment gateways including Razorpay, PayU, and Cashfree.
1. Scope of Policy
This policy applies to:
- Program fees
- Training / course fees
- Event or workshop fees
- Any other payments made through online payment gateways
Donations and CSR contributions are governed separately under Clause 7.
2. General Refund Rule
Unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing:
- All payments are non-refundable once successfully processed.
- Payment confirmation signifies acceptance of this policy.
This is consistent with the not-for-profit nature and operational commitments of LTPL Skill Foundation.
3. Refunds in Limited & Exceptional Cases
Refunds may be considered only in the following situations:
a) Program Cancellation by LTPL Skill Foundation
b) Duplicate Payment (same transaction paid more than once)
c) Technical Failure where payment is debited but enrollment or confirmation is not generated
Refunds are subject to internal verification and approval.
4. Participant-Initiated Cancellation
- Cancellation or withdrawal by the participant after registration is not eligible for refund.
- Non-attendance, partial attendance, or discontinuation does not entitle the participant to any refund.
5. Refund Processing Method (Gateway Compliance)
Where a refund is approved:
- Refunds shall be processed only to the original mode of payment used at the time of transaction
- No cash, cheque, or alternative account refunds shall be permitted
- Refunds will be initiated through the same payment gateway (Razorpay / PayU / Cashfree)
6. Refund Timeline
- Approved refunds shall be initiated within 5–7 working days from the date of approval
- The credited amount may reflect in the user’s account within 7–15 working days, depending on:
- Bank processing time
- Payment gateway timelines
LTPL shall not be responsible for delays caused by banks or payment gateway service providers.
7. Donations & CSR Contributions
- Donations, CSR funds, grants, or voluntary contributions made to LTPL Skill Foundation are strictly non-refundable
- This is in line with standard non-profit governance and payment gateway policies
8. Gateway Charges & Taxes
- Applicable payment gateway charges, transaction fees, or taxes may be deducted from the refundable amount
- LTPL shall not be liable to reimburse gateway convenience fees charged by Razorpay, PayU, or Cashfree
9. Fraud, Misuse & Disputes
LTPL reserves the right to deny refunds where:
- Incorrect or misleading information is provided
- Fraudulent activity or chargeback abuse is suspected
- The payment violates applicable laws or this policy
Such cases may be reported to the payment gateway and competent authorities.
10. Chargebacks
- Users are encouraged to contact LTPL directly before raising a chargeback
- Unwarranted chargebacks may lead to suspension from future programs and legal action as per applicable law
11. Policy Amendments
LTPL Skill Foundation reserves the right to modify this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time.
The revised policy shall be effective immediately upon publication on the website.

Legal Jurisdiction
This policy shall be governed by the laws of India. Any dispute shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts where the registered office of LTPL Skill Foundation is situated.
